Losing Everything Digitally : Rise Rebuild and Reinvent

In our world of studies and research, we pour our lives into our gadgets. A laptop is more than a machine—it's a vault for dreams, a record of growth, and a roadmap to the future. A phone captures quick thoughts, conversations with friends, and big aspirations. A simple pendrive holds months of hard work and ideas. For me, that laptop was everything. I bought it with earnings from my first job. It stored my entire 20s: student notes from late nights, carefully crafted lab guides, future plans, data from three PhD research trials, research papers I poured effort into, and e-books that inspired me. It also held personal treasures: photos of cherished memories, copies of my PAN card and Aadhar card, and stories like the Battle of Panipat that taught me resilience. On obscure day, I had an invitation to present at the BITS campus, Hydrabad. a dream venue. I traveled there excited, shared my work with experts.  But on the return journey, alone in an AC 3 coach train, everything changed....

VALORIZATION-2026: A Platform for Science, Sustainability, and Innovation

An Idea Came to Me An idea came to me clear and simple. What if I could meet my blog readers in person ? Not online. Not through comments. But through science . You may wonder what the connection is between this idea and the title of this post. There is a connection. A Crisis That Rebuilt Me: Lessons from My PhD Journey in Akola

When I moved to Akola to begin my PhD, I genuinely believed survival would be easy. I was wrong. What followed became one of the most mentally demanding phases of my life. To my readers, I apologize for not updating this blog for nearly two years. That silence did not come from comfort or stability—it came from struggle. This period marked a clear crisis point in my PhD journey, both intellectually and personally. Paradoxically, this phase also carried quite a few achievements. Before entering this transition, I had already published four research papers based on my earlier work. During this difficult period, I undertook my first major review article —a task that tested my patience and endurance far more than any experiment. That single review took nearly eleven months to complete. It moved slowly, stalled often, and forced me to read deeply, critically, and repeatedly. At the time, it felt like stagnation. In hindsight, it trained me to think like a scientist rather than merely ex...

About

Hello everyone! I’m Rushikesh Tahakik , the face behind this new Biotechnology Professionals, Scientists, and Students Network . What began as a simple WhatsApp group has now grown into a vibrant community. More than 776 members have joined us so far, and 230+ people actively responded to the recent poll—which shows how engaged and enthusiastic this community is. Seeing this response, I felt that instead of sending scattered messages in the group, we need a structured, accessible, and valuable platform. So, I have decided to create a Biotech Newsletter that will provide: Latest updates and breakthroughs in biotechnology Useful protocols and practical lab notes I have collected over the years E-books and study resources from my personal library Opportunities for members to share their own articles, notes, or research material Free access to all students, early-career researchers, and professionals who want to learn and grow My goal is to build a supportive, collaborative communi...
