Losing Everything Digitally : Rise Rebuild and Reinvent
In our world of studies and research, we pour our lives into our gadgets. A laptop is more than a machine—it's a vault for dreams, a record of growth, and a roadmap to the future. A phone captures quick thoughts, conversations with friends, and big aspirations. A simple pendrive holds months of hard work and ideas. For me, that laptop was everything. I bought it with earnings from my first job. It stored my entire 20s: student notes from late nights, carefully crafted lab guides, future plans, data from three PhD research trials, research papers I poured effort into, and e-books that inspired me. It also held personal treasures: photos of cherished memories, copies of my PAN card and Aadhar card, and stories like the Battle of Panipat that taught me resilience. On obscure day, I had an invitation to present at the BITS campus, Hydrabad. a dream venue. I traveled there excited, shared my work with experts. But on the return journey, alone in an AC 3 coach train, everything changed....
